Vaidehi Krishnan is a Principal Research Scientist at the Cancer & Stem Cell Biology Programme of Duke NUS Medical school since 2018. She obtained her PhD in Biochemistry from the Cancer Research Institute (Tata Memorial Hospital), India. Subsequently, her research has focused on understanding how genomic integrity is disrupted in aging and cancer. Over the last few years, her work has involved the use of single-cell approaches to uncover novel features of drug resistance in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). Her current interest spans basic and translational oncology research with a focus on the development of new biomarkers to predict therapeutic response heterogeneity and NK cell-based immunotherapy approaches for haematological malignancies.
